As Lancaster County’s health needs evolve, so does LG Health’s care delivery models.

Creative care models that prioritize personal connections enable LG Health to serve businesses and patients with greater flexibility and convenience—key features in an effort designed to promote wellness and reduce costs.

Reliable Alliances

Eliance Health Solutions logo

Eliance Health Solutions partners directly with businesses throughout the region to proactively improve their employees’ overall health and well-being, optimizing their health benefits and ultimately reducing costs.

Eliance offers employers an integrated suite of customizable, self-funded group health plans; corporate wellness and occupational medicine services. As a member of LG Health, Eliance provides direct access to nationally recognized programs and services.

Local administrators help with benefits enrollment, while employees have access to the proprietary, clinically integrated, Eliance Preferred Network, as well as expanded regional and national networks, pharmacy benefits and personal health advocates for clinical or claims questions.

In building their own plans, companies with at least 20 employees can take advantage of all offerings from Eliance Health Solutions; greater flexibility and more long-term cost stability than traditional insurers; and extra protection against large claims.

All Eliance health plans provide integrated employee access to a proven wellness program— which results in a healthier, more productive workforce, and a decrease in health risks, health-related costs and workplace disruptions.

Rock Medical is located in Pod 2 of the Rock Lititz campus.

The 1,500 square-foot clinic opened in March at the heart of the Rock Lititz campus. It represents LG Health’s first foray into this new health-care model, one that is gaining popularity as employers try to reduce costs by getting their workers well and keeping them that way.

Four local companies—Clair Global, General Sutter Inn and Bull’s Head Pub, United Zion Retirement Community and Moravian Manor—had signed up for 415 employee memberships by year’s end.

In the practice’s first nine months, a physician assistant and certified medical assistant provided 121 physicals, 368 other office visits and 39 virtual visits.

Among Rock Medical’s other stay-well offerings are flu shots, health risk assessments, weight loss education and counseling for diabetes patients and tobacco users.

Patients still need insurance for off-site and emergency treatment, but Rock Medical staff helps them coordinate advanced care when it’s needed to ensure they get the right kind of help the first time.

Novara members depend on Hager for their primary care services, paying directly for quick access to office visits, online support and advocacy with specialists.

Novara’s focus is on wellness, and initial, two-hour long physicals open the door to in-depth conversations about health risks and goal setting. Pediatric and gynecological services are available, as are electronic consultations with LG Health-affiliated specialists.
